Jubilation as Chelsea Agree to Pay £34m for Another World Class Defender, Tuchel's Favorite
Chelsea are on the lookout for defensive reinforcement after literally loosing both Antonio Rudiger and Andreas Christensen as free agents this summer to Spanish giants Barcelona with Cesar as well tipped to sign for Xavi's side.
Having been linked with several players, it's now clear that the London based heavyweights have settled their interest in one target who they are confident they will sign him in the coming days.
According to the Sun Football, Chelsea are allegedly open on meeting Napoli's demand of £34m to part ways with Senegalese centreback Kolidou Koulibaly with Tuchel viewing the 30 year old as a perfect target to command his backline.
Koulibaly is expected to be sold this summer as he will be out of contract next summer and therefore a perfect opportunity for Napoli to make a good sum of money.
It's claimed that Koulibaly will as well not play for any other Serie A club as a form of loyalty to Napoli and therefore Stamford Bridge being termed as his preferred destination.
