Arsenal's next four fixtures compared to Man City, Tottenham, Man Utd and Chelsea in title race The Gunners have four huge games to secure top spot for the festive season as the break for the World Cup approaches.

The win not only cemented top spot, but with results elsewhere going their way, it saw the side move four points clear with only a few matches left before the World Cup break. The Gunners only have four matches left until then - while some rivals have five due to rescheduled fixtures.

With that said, here's a look at their fixtures coming up compared to their rivals.

Southampton (A) - October 23

Southampton have dropped into the relegation zones this week as they registered a 1-1 draw against West Ham at Saint Mary's. That point is their only one picked up from the last available 15, suggesting they are in some worrying form after a few early victories to get things kickstarted.

The Saints have proven capable of an upset though, overcoming Chelsea for victory in one of their only two wins so far in the league.

Nottingham Forest (H) - October 30

Nottingham Forest's difficulties have been well documented as of late, struggling on their return to top flight football after making huge changes over the summer transfer window. The East Midlands outfit currently sit bottom of the table, picking up just one point in their last five matches.

While there was speculation over the future of head coach Steve Cooper, the club offered him a new long-term deal to show their backing of him.

Chelsea (A) - November 6

A London Derby arrives in the penultimate match before the break for the World Cup as Arsenal make the short trip to face off against Chelsea. The Blues have been in fine form under new boss Graham Potter and are yet to taste defeat since he took charge and making a return to the top four.

Should they win their game in hand and continue their fine form, Chelsea could join the chasing pack when it comes to eyeing an unlikely title push.

Wolves (A) - November 12

The final game before the World Cup break comes away at Wolves, who finally picked up another win at the weekend to climb out of the bottom three. While still without a manager, the side beat Nottingham Forest to earn all three points in a match that could be seen as a relegation six-pointer.

It remains to be seen if the West Midlands side hire a new manager in time for the clash at Molineux or if they will remain managerless into the long break.

Chelsea's next five fixtures:

Brentford (A) - October 19

Manchester United (H) - October 22

Brighton (A) - October 29

Arsenal (H) - November 6

Newcastle (A) - November 12

Tottenham's next five fixtures:

Manchester United (A) - October 19

Newcastle United (H) - October 23

Bournemouth (A) - October 29

Liverpool (H) - November 6

Leeds United (H) - November 12

Manchester City's next four fixtures:

Brighton (H) - October 22

Leicester City (A) - October 29

Fulham (H) - November 5

Brentford (H) - November 12

Manchester United's next five fixtures:

Man Utd chief John Murtough’s view on reviving Adrien Rabiot transfer and signing Casemiro Man Utd chief John Murtough’s view on reviving Adrien Rabiot’s transfer and signing Casemiro After losing to Brentford, ten Hag criticizes Man United as being “naive.” The notion of bringing in Casemiro and Adrien Rabiot as a midfield tandem this summer has been shelved by Manchester United’s recruitment boss John Murtough. Negotiations for the former fell through due to pay demands, and a swoop for the latter is allegedly being pursued in its place because the chances of a double deal seem remote. Rabiot, whose contract expires in a year, was quickly agreed upon by United and Juventus for a £15 million cost. The agreement is thought to have fallen through, though, after Murtaugh traveled to Italy and met with the Frenchman’s agent and mother, Veronique, a very shrewd negotiator. According to rumors,...
